The International Development and Health Initiative, Inc. (IDHI) is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization established in the State of New York to empower sub-Saharan African families to improve their standards of living. The IDHI, Inc. represents a community development initiative whose mission is to:
- Empower local communities, especially small farmers, to explore innovative solutions in agricultural development, food production, and green growth policies;
- Improve access to maternal and child health services, clean water and sanitation; and support communities to set up sustainable campaigns against malaria; and
- Provide opportunities for better education to struggling young people — building modern educational facilities, equipping schools with adequate resources, including desks, chairs, blackboards, computer literacy tools and other necessary school supplies.
